Pure and Calming,

Yet so irritating.

Such a small thing,

Yet so confusing.

Take away the torturing silence,

And bring out the best of me.

Put the silence it back,

And that part of me is still there.

Silence engulfs the best of all of us,

And puts it slowly back.

But why?
