A/N: This is just something I wrote for a descriptive writing assignment so...

Ebony Fields

The grass grows thick and black all over,

As a sign of dark times when our ancestors fell.

Flowers spread over the earth bloom,

As fiery as the deepest circle of hell.

And as the sun shines down from her lofty perch,

Painting in streamers of gold.

The fields glow in all their dark glory,

Showing the world the beauty of old.

The moon then rises in the wake of the sun,

And with silver fingers caresses the blooms.

Then flowers open to the night sky,

Filing the air with their sweet perfume.

In the light of day winged warriors swarm overhead,

Laden with swords and shields.

They all flock to catch one last glimpse,

Of our beautiful Ebony Fields.

A/N: So what did you think I'd really love some feedback on this one cause I'm not so sure about it myself...
