That deserve no one's applause
We all wonder how things got this way
When actually religion is a significant cause
Religion gives people
A reason to hate
To support inequality
To cause freedom to wait
Believing what you want
Shouldn't be so bad
But people go overboard with it
Losing touch with reality...it's pretty sad
It's pretty ridiculous
Normal humans like you put ideas in your head
Except these people wear special clothing
I guess that's how they know what happens when you're dead
Why should religion decide
That being gay is a sin
It's simply people giving excuses
For the immature fears they hold within
Here's what I think
Straight from the heart,
People wouldn't need religion
If people were smart.
