The next morning was awkward.

“Morning…” Ava said in a sleepy voice.

I checked my phone. No missed calls, secretly I wished for a call. I was scared

But at the same time confused.

“Morning…” I whispered softly.

She stood up and stretched, I couldn’t help but stare. It was like she had some “effect” on me overnight.

Not that im saying something happened! Im saying, when she said “im bi”…something switched in me.

“Are you getting out of bed?” she asked, with a quizzical look.

God, what am I thinking, how could I like a girl!!!??!!! Impossible, I like guys…she’s with a guy. FINITO!

I slid out of the bed and stretched…I noticed her staring also.

“What?” I asked.

She smiled and turned away. “Nothing, come on im hungry!”

We walked to the kitchen, where her mom was up and running…not literally.

“Good morning girls! Hope you all slept well!” Ugh…talk about morning person.

“Yup” She said and sat down at the table where eggs and toast and bacon waited.

“So holly, tell me something dear, what does your mom do?”

I smiled and answered “she sells houses, a realtor you can say.”

She smiled and nodded. She was nice… WAS…remember that.

“All right so today, we want to go to the mall and then to the movies and maybe to your pool?”

I was shocked, I didn’t even know I had plans!

“Umm yeah why not! Actually, I was thinking…”

Her phone rang and she immediately picked up.

“Hello? Hey baby! Yeah I just woke up too, uh huh…yeah me and holly are going out too. I want to see you tonight! Okay babe, I love you too, bye.”

I stared in amazement. I felt a twinge in my heart…my face felt hot. Was I jealous?

NAH! Im a GIRL , GIRLS like BOYS!

“Well I guess you girls are busy, so ill let you go. Im outing with my girls! Have fun and wash the dishes AVA!”

She left and left an silence. Ava kept acting normal, but I kept acting jittery.

“Whats wrong?” she suddenly asked when she saw my untouched eggs.

“Oh…nothing just not hungry.”

She laughed “you…not hungry!”

“Hey!!” I smacked her playfully on her arm. We got into a wrestling match and ended up on the floor. My face close to hers…our lips almost touching. She didn’t mind, but I pulled back.

“Umm, are we going?” I asked suddenly with a jumpy voice.

She sighed and got up. “Yeah, let me get ready, you sure you’re ok? Did I scare you last night?”

I tried to laugh it off, instead I said no.

“All right if you insist. Come on I want to take you to Dolphin Mall, it just opened!”

I nodded and followed her into the room. I couldn’t help but stare at her ass! GOD! What am I doing! This is not me..no…no…no!
