Chapter Four

A/N: This is a short last chapter, but it’s the end!

Who is all? I peered over at Ray, I blushed again. His brown and red hair flew behind his head and his hazel eyes stared into the sapphire sky, reflecting the cotton white clouds. A white feather blew into my face from on of Athena’s wings, forcefully driving through the air. It was soft, like a swan feather. This is so strange, I thought, it’s just all a dream; with Ray and Athena. A shining golden ball glistened over one of the white clouds; the sun. My nails were the same color, as usual in a sunrise or sunset. As I stared out into the sunrise, dreaming about the sun, suddenly I jolted onto a surface and sprung forward. We had landed on a tall building’s roof. It was hard, and I had bruised my back there. Ray nearly toppled me as he fell.

“Ouch,” I choked rubbing my back. Athena stood looking out above the city, her pearl colored wings suddenly disappeared, feathers whipping away out in the wind. My eyes widened, but I didn’t say anything. Athena turned to me.

“Get up,” she said. Athena snarled looking down at us. “And you too,” she said. She continued staring out onto the rising sun. “Well come on then!” I was pulled up by Ray, who covered his eye with his other hand as he flinched. We trotted to a door on the roof, kind of like a trap door into the roof.

We fell into the building, the tall never ending building; we fell for about 20 seconds before Athena finally withdrew her wings so that we could land safely.

It was almost silent at the bottom of the building. There was only one floor in the huge building, the bottom which was the lobby. It was strange to see such a place. The floors were carpeted a sparkling white, which was strange how perfect it was. Quiet elevator music played. Large narrow windows stretched from the top to the bottom of the building where we could see much of the city.

We followed Athena, her pail hair floating behind her as she walked. We came to a wall where there was a file cabinet. Athena bent over and started digging through it. “...Sakura Kino... Yuki Kimoshi,” she muttered to herself. “Ah,” she said suddenly flipping around. She handed me the strangest item. “Mika Kinmo!” She pushed the golden gem into the palm of my hand.

I held it up. Light reflected off of it like it was a piece of light itself. “It’s like a... stained glass?” I asked rolling it in my hands. In flashed in my face, even its light was warm.

“It is a light crystal,” said Athena. And she continued fishing through the files. “Hm…” she continued. “Oh yes, Ray Jones,” she said, tossing Ray a crystal just as bright. Ray held it up, and a million rays of light sprouted and danced across the walls.

Suddenly, Athena melted into darkness, the building and Ray too. I turned around and saw everything was completely black! When I looked down and saw that my body was melting into darkness too, I ran my right hand over something soft…

A wonderful, warm smell filled my body like raspberry pie. I opened my eyes and found one of my hands grasping a blanket and another sweaty hand gripping the light crystal. “It wasn’t a dream,” I said aloud.

I detected the smell. I figured it must be fruit crepes or raspberry pie. It smelt so good, like a slice of heaven. I couldn’t get up, I didn’t want to, the warm sunlight filling the air. Birds chirped brightly and were as many different birds chirping at once as falling rain drops.

But finally, I got curious enough to crawl out of bed and get up. I realized the house wasn’t mine. It was bigger and filled with light yellows, pinks and oranges. I followed the scent of the crepe until I reached the kitchen of the unknown house.

There was a tall dark haired man, who I quickly realized was Ray. He leaned over the stove and was cooking what I had suspected, raspberry crepes. “Ray,” I asked him stretching. “Where are we?”

He never really answered my question but said this; “Good Morning.”

A/N: Stupid ending, huh? R&R!
