Stellar.

for Javier

Love is many pointed, many splendoured

A star, tiered and solitary

White pierces and swells

A channel burned through

Black bright midnight

Catching the eye, striking

Sight, pulling

A translucent irresistable gravity.

Remnants splinter and spill

Stardust sprinkles into the eye

Crystal parts embedded deep

To be later remembered recollected by

The eye. Love

Is not forgotten. It lies

Deep still in the curtained chambers of

The slowly beating heart. The shards

Of love slice

And secretly slide into hearts

And make homes for themselves there.

The stardust the knowlege once seen

Is sewed into

Our collective conciousness and

Hides there

Not to be ignored but to

Swell into our souls, swell and tell

Us that once

Once

We

Understood.
