Sugar

Sugar high, sugar low

Sugar everywhere I go

Sugar where I turn

Sugar makes me burn

To taste it

Even just a bit

To savor it

I feel my eyes lit

Of it I thought

Then I it sought

I didn't eat it yet

All must be set

The way it was before

I took it from behind the door

Momma mustn't catch me taking it

She would surely have a fit

Cause sugar isn't good for me

This sugar-lust mustn't be

In my momma's perfect world

At the thought my fingers curled

Around my stolen treasure

Applying too much pressure

Melded was my chocolate

Sitting, crying, I it bade

"Come back, my sweet friend!

We shall never be apart again!"

It didn't come back

I cried

When momma found me

She sighed

She knew the story

One end to another

She doesn't know why I bother

Bother to try and eat

The delicious chocolate

But it's so sweet!

That I just ate and ate

At least in my dreams

Cause it isn't what it seems

And now my momma won't let me have chocolate…

A/N: Hehe... Just a little silly poem done in 15 minutes... Notice it's actually the first of my poems that rhyme AND it isn't really depressing the way most of my things are (very proud)... Yup... Well, just done when I was on a sugar-low, 10 minutes after deciding that I would start on a serious diet :'( Life is sometimes unfair ;-)

Well, ppl! Review and tell me what you think!... Please?
