Breath of fresh air

The warmth of the sun

Touches my skin

The birds of the air

Are starting to sing

The sound of the waves

Crash against the seashore

And I sight in contentment

I’ve been here before.

It’s such a lovely place

Of beauty peace and wonder

Where I feel so close to you

It reminds me of the love we share

And all that you continue to do for me

Even when I don’t deserve it

Your love always pours forth

And it seems through the rougher times

I come closer to you

Than I ever have before

How I love you Lord

In Your splendor that surrounds

This peace I feel

I wish I could keep this moment not only for now, but forever.

As I leave behind all I brought to you today

I take in a deep breath and smile

God is truly my breath of fresh air that I need to breathe in everyday
