'Friendly' Breakup Aftermath

The harvest moon is shining
And the tide keeps rising
My feet are getting wet

You are't standing by me
So I'll just start rhyming
It's the best way to forget

Though you're still right here
The you I loved is gone
Hope I won't need more beer
Just to be strong

Together or alone
I smashed up my phone
Don't call me again

Asahi wa kogasu
Nakitakunai
Daisuki demo kirai

But when I think of you
Denials don't ring true
I just wanna die

Maybe I'm too random
Too silly and too strange
But are you so perfect
If you want me to change?

It's time to take a stand
Let go of my hand
I'm leaving on my own

Urgh, the rhythm kept getting wonky on me. ::sigh:: Nothing about this is consistent, although i thinkthinkTHINK that I fixed the rhythm randomosity. The title is not as bad as the first one, and I'm too tired and wired to think of a better one. Oh well, anyway, the Japanese lines translate as: "The morning light burns (me) / I don't want to cry / I love you but I dislike/don't like you" ...Um, yeah, the translation doesn't really work in the song. Yay for Japanese!

Oh yeah, this song has nothing to do with me other than the fact that I wrote it; and I don't drink beer, I just needed an appropriate rhyme. Peace.
