A/N: This is a poem about my ex-change student that has been living with me since August. She’s leaving me at the beginning of June. We’ve become really close, and I don’t know what I’m going to do without her. She is like a sister to me, even though we’ve had our many fights, I still love her and will miss her. So, I made a poem about her and about her stay with me. I hope you like it. Please R&R !!!
Marjory
Silly,
Crazy,
Sometimes retarded,
That’s Marjory.
There are so many words that one could use to try to explain this one particular special girl.
She came to my home,
A stranger to us all,
Brave to the world,
Not scared to fall.
Through the months a friendship developed,
We became close,
And have stuck together.
With all the drama we’ve been through,
No one will ever compare to us two.
The secrets we’ve shared,
The stories we’ve told,
We will forever hold,
And never unfold.
We’ve had our moments,
Of laughter,
Tears,
And joy,
I guess that’s what you get when you live with Jory.
She knows how to make someone smile,
But try to watch her run a mile.
The time is approaching for her to go back home,
But I don’t know how to let go.
We’ve become so close,
That I’m going to miss her so much.
I don’t want her to go.
She’s been my friend,
My pal,
My roommate,
One that can never be replaced,
Seeing her leave will break me into three.
I’ll never be able to forget all the memories we’ve made,
I swear they will never fade.
To Marjory,
My ex-change student,
My friend,
I’ll miss you when you go and forever on,
But our memories will never end.
