If the hallway lights never shine upon me again,

Then blame it on Ms. Hartman.

As I write this note to you my brain is turning into mush.

My foot has fallen fast asleep, the same goes for my tush,

And yet I cannot fall asleep because then she’ll just get mad.

Oh, the boringness of this lesson really is quite sad.

So, dearest Sarah, please tell my family I love them

Because if I die within this period, it will be because of boredom.
