Prologue:

In a land among myths and legends, truths and lies, the pure and the tainted, many secrets lay buried within centuries of hidden legitimacy, never to be sought after. Yet, various tales are revealed little by little, as the ancient inhabitants among this land share the chronicles, exchanging stories, parables and such. These divulged secrets have traveled across time and space for so long, that they now crumble at the feet of the stars, forever forlorn to any forager, who wishes to explore their mysteries... until now.

Far away, in a distant land, which is very much like the earth that so many people recognize, there lay a great kingdom. This realm was governed by the Seven, whom all must obey, for legends regard this grand council as the Holy ones. Being the distinguished ruling gods, these Seven created many devout angels, who were told to serve and guide the humans- certain misunderstood beings, who laid chaos and turmoil throughout the gracious earth.

For hundreds of thousands of years, all went well. The angels did as they were bid and the humans respected and obeyed the seraphs, in the same way as a student would acknowledge a professor. But good things never last for long- the seraphim were bound to rebel.

In just a matter of time, many angels had fallen, releasing vicious fiends from the fiery depths of oblivion. Evil spirits filled the land with terror and destruction, attempting to override the divine powers that were left. Imps and mischievous urchins roamed about, creating discord wherever they went. Blood thirsty demons roamed, endeavoring to shroud the earth in darkness. The pure and the tainted evened out, constantly vying for their own sense of justice.

The Seven decided to act upon this issue and keep the world at peace. They managed to seal away most of the evil, although the most nefarious were left to do their own behests. To maintain the harmony and tranquility of the land, the grand council selected three beings: one pure angel, who had never done wrong, one tainted angel, who had redeemed himself from the depraved darkness, and a third angel, who would stay the tip of the scale- the balance between the pure and the tainted. And so, the tale begins...
