Callista stopped to think about it, "Well hunting vampires was alot more challenging back then...and..well, ever since I got more time on m hands, I've been feeling weird."
She suddenly felt like she was at a psychiatrist session.
"Probably adjusting to being a vampire." He replied.
"Maybe...I have been drinking only vampire blood...well until recently anyways...maybe thats got something to do with it."
Memory of his blood sent a shiver down her spine, but she calmed herself before she thought about anything stupid.
Nisydes stared at her, studying her. She certainly wasn't something he was used to... Walking over, he sat down on the couch, hands on his knees as he leaned back and relaxed.
"Vat is your name again?"
Callista," she said, not really annoyed that he forgot it...or did she forget to give it to him? oh well. "Well since I've introduced myself again, you should too."
"Nisydes." He replied.
Callista sat up and looked at him, "Well there we go. Now what?"
Looking to her, he had a face that clearly read 'What's wrong with you?' "Ve talk or sit in silence, zat's vat."
"Sorry!" She said sighing. After a while, she decided to lean her head on his shoulder.
"Tell me, what was it like...with your family...before the incident i mean."
Nisydes looked over to her before looking at the wall, "Ve vere peaceful and happy, like most families. My brozer and I vould play often vis our dog, before I left for ze military..."
"Why did you go?" Callista asked, wanting to understand this weird culture.
"It vas eizer (either) me or my brozer... I said I vould go. Zat vas ven I vas five."
"Holy shit..."
"Why so young? Shouldnt your parents make that decision?"
"Zey needed boys to train for ze military." He replied with a short frown.
"Still....so young. I wasnt even able to pick up books probably at that age." Callista said. "Must've been hard."
"I did my best." He replied, a bit short on the subject.
"No wonder you're so big," Callista said, picking up his arm and looking at it without really thinking. "You're brother never entered the military? What did he do?"
"Before he died and vile I vas avay, he helped Mor and Far vis ze fields... Mostly planting rices...." He replied, watching her lift his arm.
"That sounds nice...I spent most of my childhood indoors. Really dusty." she placed his arm down. "I have a question, but you dont have to answer...what happened after your family died? To you, i mean."
"I trained and trained in ze military. Zat vas my life."
"What about...emotionally? What were you feeling?" The question was to better help understand her own emotions as well as to get to know Nisydes better.
"I do not have many emotions." He replied, voice even, "I vas just a general, ve did not need emotion."
"But then....when was it that you realized what you did?" Callista was very curious, but did not want to push him away.
His jaw set, "Ven I vas abandoned by Mistress Zaini onto zis vorld..."
Callista narrowed her eyes, she was beginning to not like this Mitress Zani...but there was something else. She seemed very evil.
"Why did she abandon you? Did you do something wrong?"
Nisydes frowned. One of those 'don't ask' frowns as he spoke in a 'don't ask' voice, "I did nozing vrong, but it vas nozing right eizer...."
Callista, still curious, decided not to push it. She'll try again at another time.
"I see....why do you work at the mines? You're a slave there, you know."
"Vat else vill a human do here?" He looked at her, "I am registered, but can only vork as a slave."
Callista thought for a second, "Hide." She met his gaze, "I never was registered and I lived free for several years before I was turned. I worked for people on earth or even for other vampires, who never knew my true identity, and became an assassin, but only for the undead."
He scoffed, "And vat vould have happened if you vere caught? Zen just suffered more. I am registered here, I cannot go hide. And I vill not. I am not a coward."
Callista smiled, "I did hide, but I was not a coward. I know what vampires are and do, I am no fool. But I will not have my freedom taken from me, even though I came here on my free will. I guess hiding isnt the best way to describe what I did...I evaded and infiltrated them."
She then looked towards the window, "I'd rather have taken the risk of being torn to pieces than ever submit to anyone. I have no regrets."
Looking back to him, she added. "Being a vampire, I can help you. Then you can do whatever you want, work and go wherever and whenever you want."
Nisydes gave her a reproachful look, "I am satisfied vis vat I am doing right now. No need to change or alter it. Is my vorld and my life."
Callista shrugged, "Well, if this is what you want, then I guess it's okay. This is the life you want, right?"
He nodded, but truthfully, the life he wanted was back with the military....
Callista looked at him, finally able to return her face back to the semi-emotionless state she'd always had before all the crazyness started, "You should think about it some more."
She got up and stretched, "Well, I'm going to take a shower."
And with that she went upstairs
"Hn." Was his reply as he continued to sit there. What did it matter anyway, he wouldn't be able to go back to the military- Zaini saw to that by abandoning him on this planet...
He briefly remembered the andriod he was with, and for a flicker of a moment, Nisydes wondered of him...
During Callista's shower, she thought of how she had reacted earlier and the idea that she was in love with Nisydes. She decided to dwell on the latter some other time and focus on controlling these emotions so the former doesn't happen again.
Finishing and drying off, she came back downstairs wearing her black t-shirt and pants as she put her damp hair into a ponytail.
Is still sitting on the couch as he's not a very intersting person.
To Callista, the fact that he was still in the exact spot he was half-an-hour ago made him very interesting to her.
She finished with her hair and walked infront of him, watching him.
"What are you thinking about?"
"Nozing." Vas his simple reply.
Callista blinks, "How can you think of nothing? There has to be something in there."
"Nozing." He again said with a hint of drop it.
Callista sighed, "Why so withdrawn suddenly?"
Looks up at her, arching an eye brow, "I said zat zere is nozing in my thoughts."
Callista smirked slightly, "I don't believe you."
Stares back at her, straight face, "Vell, you should."
"I really have no reason to," she said, still with the half-smile.
"Vhy?"
Callista shrugged, "Cause sometimes you don't answer my questions, and so then you must be holding back something. If you were holding something back then, then how do I know if you're not doing it now?"
Sighs, "My thoughts are my own, and I do not need to share if I do not vant to."
"Why don't you?" Callista asked curiously. "It's not like i'm going to tell anybody."
"Because it's privacy. Ven I have somezing zat I do not vant to share, I'm not required to."
"Why don't you want to share it?" Callista said, knowing she was getting annoying.
He gave her an irritated look, "Voman...." he said warningly.
Callista held her ground, deciding to push it a bit more, "What? Now don't you see why I can't believe you when you said you were thinking of nothing?"
Nisydes is now officialy at the end of his patience, "Is none of your business."
Callista smirk faded away, leaving an emotionless expression. "I wonder if he'd really fight me..." "I've decided that its now my business aswell."
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because is my thought, and not yours..." He grred.
"True. But does it really hurt to share them?" she was alert.
"it does not hurt, but is invasion of privacy. I do not ask you vat you zink."
"You can if you want to. My privacy is not as restricting as yours."
"Mine is, because I am a man, not a vomen. I do not go around saying everyzing zat comes into my head."
"You act like thats a bad thing."
"It is. It means you are frivilous and vould tell anyvon anyzing visout consideration for privacy."
"But its my privacy. I choose who i let in and who I don't. But the only ones I don't are my enemies. Am i your enemy?"
He sighs, standing, "But to tell somevon vat you are zinking visout considering if zey vant to hear or not is rude and vat vomen do. Is nothing to deal vis enemies."
"Why wouldn't they want to hear it?"
"Ze subject is closed now, because it has become bothersome..." He takes a step to her, kinda like trying to intimidate her into silence.
Callista doesn't even flinch, "If you were more open, I bet it wouldn't be so bothersome."
He sighed and just walked over to the kitchen, getting a glass of water.
Callista followed him with her eyes, "You sure like your water..."
Drinking, "Is only liquid."
"Yes, but you do drink it often." sits down on the couch. "Don't you drink anything else?"
She didn't get it. "Is only liquid here."
Callista blinked, "Oh. Well, I can get something else."
"No, vater is best."
Callista leaned back, "But sometimes best doesn't mean good tasting."
"Zat is irrelivent...."
"Nisydes," Callista turned her head towards him. "Don't you ever get tired with just whats necessary? Don't you ever, just once, considered doing something that wasn't necessary for survival, but was enjoyable anyways?"
"No." Was his simple reply, "All I care about is doing vat is right and vat needs to be done."
"Are you sure you're satisfied with just that?" Callista said, secretly impressed by his discipline.
The man nodded, "Yes."
Callista raised an eyebrow at him, then sighed. "Very well, whatever suits you."
He didn't roll his eyes, but if he were a man to roll his eyes, he would have rolled his eyes. Since when did he need approval from a woman for his lifestyle?
"Any ozer stupid questions?"
Callista gave a laugh, "They're not stupid. I'm just trying to see if you're happy the way you are. Most people i've seen would hate the way you live."
"Vhy does it matter if I am happy or not?"
Callista shrugged...then actually thought about it. "Yeah...why does it matter?"
"I dont know. Maybe I'm just bored..."
"Zen find ozer vays to entertain yourself. I vasn't made just for you."
Callista grinned, "I'll keep that in mind."
He nodded.... Uhm... Yep.
"You should ask me questions more often." Callista said suddenly
He looked at her with a wondering frown, "Vhy?"
"Seems fair." was her answer.
"Vat if I do not vish to learn anyzing? Zen vhy is it fair?"
Callista thought about it, "Well, how would you make it fair?"
"I do not see vhy ve need to make it fair." He huffed, "Is just you questioning everysing zat I do over and over..."
Meanwhile, from those two talkin's, Yari (go lookit the char sign up 'n at, 'cause I be lazy to post link to pic. ) stumbles a bit, blinking and he sighed, "Where am I?"
I can't help it..."Callista confesed, "Usually I just do it in my head, but it's difficult with you. I can't get any answers unless I ask you directly.'
"Hn." Was his reply.
Callista sighed
Yari is off somewhere. Nyar. Nisydes gets a drink of water, having nothing else to do.
Callista gets up, "I'll be back." And heads out, wanting to take a walk and maybe even getting a snack.
Yay! Yari might be found!! Nisydes nods, watching her go...
Callista starts wondering the streets like she always does, observing things...
Yari is wondering around, a soft smile on his face- it betrays that he actually feels lonely, and makes him look happy.
Callista sees him and stops, leaning against a nearby wall as she obseved him or anything else of interest nearby.
Uh, gonna put him into stereotypical trouble. A drunken dude is all 'Heee, hottie.' And he walks over and slings his arm over Yari. Even though he's insaley big and fat and icky (Uhm.... He's a fat human who somehow survived on Nocteria), Yari doesn't falter or fall or anything.
Callista watches with curiosity (you shouldve made him vampire, lol)
(OHM!! Yes!!) The dude is now officialy a fat assed druken vamp. BUANANA!! Anyway, his fat hands begin to roam Yari's body, dragging him to an alleyway. Yari's smile flickers, but he follows anyway.
Callista blinks. "why isn't he struggling?" She decides to follow, jumping to the roof of the building next to the alley and follows them from above.
Uhm, begins groping and kissing Yari, and Yari complies, kissing back as well.
Callista blinks and watches with even more curiosity. "Maybe they know each other..."
The
man is a bit freaked as he roughly shoves Yari into the wall, "Why
isn't ya strugglin' like a piggy?!"
"Because you want
this." His reply is shaky, but his smile remains.
Callista watches and listens intently. "I don't understand..." Slowly, she unsheathed her sword.
The vampire back hands him, and Yari takes it. The vamp then goes back to molesting, to which Yari went back to pleasuring him. The vamp snarled and back handed the andriod yet again.
Callista drops soundlessly to the ground nearby, her sword hidden behind her, "You shouldn't do that...around me anyways." she says to the vampire.
The vamp blinks in stupor, "Back off, he's mine." he snarled, thick fingers wrapping tightly around Yari's neck. Yari doesn't choke or look scared though.
Callista glances at him in confusion before looking back at the vampire. "I'm not interested in him...in that way anyways. You're the one who's cruel..." as she said this she slowly approached him.
"Back off!" he bared his fangs, shoving Yari behind him.
Callista
smirked, her scarlet eyes glinting. "Too bad for you, I'm kinda
hungry."
She then dissapears and reapears behind him. In one
motion she slices off the vampires fingers off of Yari and pulls him
away from him. Most likely the vampire turned around quickly,
Callista placed her sword exactly where his neck would be if he did.
Bah, is fat. Screams in pain and starts running away. Yari stares, a bit in a stupor.
Callista chuckles, "Not even worth my time." Moving at the speed of light, she gets in front of the cowardly fat vampire and grabs him by the neck. She then pulls him to her mouth and bites down hard and starts to drink. In case he tried to claw at her, she sliced off his arms as she drunk.
....Ew...... Yari's face is all ew too... She's eating from that tubbie?!?!
After a few gulps, she slices his head off. "Not even that good. I can definitely get better/ Good thing I wasn't that hungry." She said, looking at the head as she held it by the hair. She let it go and started walking towads Yari.
Blinks and is walked to. He stares at her, smiling softly as always.
Callista stares at him. "Who are you?"
"My name is Yari." Smile.
"You nearly became Vampire food, why are you smiling?" Callista asked curiously
"Because I'm programmed to."
Callista blinked, "Programmed?"
"Yes."
Callista leans closer to him. "You're not human...are you?"
"No." The smile flickered as he stood perfectly still.
"Then what are you?" Callista looked at every inch of him. He didn't smell like a vampire...
Has the smell of a machine. . "I'm an andriod."
Callista blinked in surprised. She's never met one before. "How interesting...so you were programmed to let that vamp have his way with you?"
"Yes. I'm what they call a 'sex bot'."
Callista unknowingly had a look of sympathy on her face , "I see. I'm Callista."
Smiles, "Hello Callista."
"Where are you going?" She asked as she sheathed her sword and wiped the blood from her face.
"...I'm... Not going anywhere. But I'm looking for someone."
Callista was interested, "Who?"
"A man I was with, his name is Nisydes." Looks hopeful.
Callista stares at him, blinking in disbelief, "It can't be...it's too much of a coincidence!" "Er...actually, i do know a Nisydes."
"Really!?"
"Yes...how do you know him?" Callista asked, now even more interested than before.
"We were abandoned here together, from Mistress Zaini." Doesn't lie.
Callista saw opportunity, "Why did she abandon you here?"
Thinks for a bit, "Because we were gifts for someone, but they didn't like us. And we knew something, I think."
Callista's curiosity and confusion were at their peak, "Gifts? For who?"
"A mage of some sort."
"Do you know this mage's name?"
"I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to reveal it."
Callista blinked, "Why not?"
"Because I am programmed to keep it a secret."
"Who programmed you?"
"Mistress Zaini and Nisydes."
Callista blinked, then glared, "Nisydes programmed you to keep this a secret?" "Man thats soo annoying!!!"
"Because mistress Zaini said to..." Blinks, taking a little step back. She was getting maaaad.
Callista was starting to be annoyed every time this Mistress Zaini was mentioned. Callista's glare then vanished, "Did Nisydes do anything to make Zaini mad at him?"
Blinks and bites his lip, "Uhm..... Oh! If you know him, you can ask him!" Smiles and looks at her, "Oh, wait. You know him!! Can you bring me to him, please? I've been looking for a long time..." His clothes do indeedy look a bit raggety.
Callista sighed, then looked back at him with a grin, "If you answer my question, I'll take you to him."
A pause, "But if you took down that vampire so fast, I'm sure you're then his wife!" Smiles, "So he's finally fallen in love? That's sweet, I was hoping to let him see it first, but I guess you got to him before me."
Callista just stared at him...if her skin hadn't been so dark, she would've been blushing beet red. "I'm not his wife." An emotion came to her when she said this, but she pushed to the back of her mind. "What do you mean you letting him see it first? what first?"
Phew, he was glad that worked.... "Love first. I wanted him to love."
Oh yay, another emotion Callista didn't understand and really really REALLY didn't like....something along the lines of wanting to separate the boy's head from his metallic spine... Forcing herself to hide it, Callista turned emotionless. "I see...Well, lets go. Maybe I'll get my answers when we see him." "Though I doubt it."
"Okay!" Smiles.
Callista sighs and starts walking back to Nisydes house, motioning for Yari to follow her.
"How did the two of you meet, anyways?"
Yari smiled and followed her, "When we were presented as the gifts."
"Nisydes was a gift?" Callista asked curiously.
"Yes. I was the best sex bot that Mistress Zaini owned. And he was her best general."
"Why would she give him away like that?" Callista said, not really understanding.
"I cannot say."
She sighed. "What was he supposed to do as a gift? I mean...I know what you were expected to do..."
"We were just to be given to the mage, that was all."
Callista stuck her hands in her pockets, "Confusing..."
"I'm sorry."
Callista shrugged. "Whatever...but I bet you're glad I was there to help you today."
"It wouldn't make a difference. It happens all the time..." His smile flickers as he walks next to her.
Callista looked at him, "That so called vampire might've killed you."
"He would have raped me and then left, they all do. Once they discover that they can't eat me, they just leave..."
Callista thought about it, "You have a point. But isn't the raping part not that great? I mean I know you're programmed a certain way, however..."
"It's only rape if I don't like it..." Twitch.
"Do you like it much?"
"It's sex. I'm programmed to perform, and so I do."
Callista looked ahead. "He sounds like Nisydes rigfht there..." "But do you like it?"
Stares at the ground.
Callista petted his head, "I wouldn't. Its the reason I'm a vampire..."
Blinks and looks at her, a little surprised that she had touched him so easily. He breaks into a soft little smile.
Callista blinks, "There it is..." A few yards ahead was the house.
Nisydes
was inside, sitting 'cause he's boring.
Yari looked and
felt excited to see Nisydes again...
Callista walked to the door and sighed when she saw Nisydes sitting as usual, "Guess what. I meet a friend of yours."
Nisydes looked up, but Yari ran over to him and laughed. The andriod put his hands behind his back as he leaned forward, "Hey Nisydes!!" The man quickly stood, eyes wide in angry shock.
Callista blinked in suprise by Nysides' reaction.
"Hehehe, how've you been?! Better, I hope I hope!" Nisydes' eyes narrowed as he glared. Ugh, how he hated this... This abnormality. This disgusting thing that didn't deserve to resemble a human. "Vat are you doing here?"
Callista walked over to them, observing Nysides reaction closely. "I found him. He was being attacked by some vampire...he was so interesting that I helped him out. When he mentioned you name, well I decided to bring him to you."
Nisydes
glared at her, "You should have left it zere..."
Yari
only watched him with the smile.
"Why? He's so interesting. I've never met an android before."
"Is an andriod made vis a voman's purpose. It is a vaste of machinary and of life."
Callista looked at Yari, then back at Nysides. "It's not his fault he was made to please women."
"Hn."
Glares at Yari now, "Return to vere you came from."
Yari
only smiled to him, "We were abandoned together, Nisydes, and I
think we should stay together." The man visibly tensed at that
comment, glaring at Yari to silence him.
Callista blinked, noticing Nysides behavior. This was starting to sound like a bad idea all of a sudden. "Well....I dont see what 's the problem."
"Ze problem is zat it is containimated vis the filth of sin." His glare returns to Callista.
Callista looked back. "Again, not his fault. Why don't you reprogram him. According to him, you're the one who programmed him along with this Mistress Zaini."
Yari's eyes widned, ack, he didn't think she'd tell him that! Nisydes' wrathful glare suddenly pierced directly at Yari. His arm suddenly shot out, grabbing an arm and began to yank him towards the upstairs, "Stay here." He ordered Callista.
Oops, Callista thought as they upstairs. She waited till they were gone before disobeying his order and followed.
A door slammed as Nisydes and Yari were in a room.
Callista crouched outside the door, pressing her ear against it.
"Vat
else have you told her?!" Nisydes' voice was NOT happy.
"Only
that were were abandoned here together." Yari's voice was
normal, not afraid of Nisydes at all, "And what I am. Y'know,
she wasn't disgusted or anything. She looked sympathetic!"
"Of
course, she is a vomen." He spat back.
Callista glared. What is it with him and women!!
"Still...
She's human, like you Nisydes." His voice had grown soft
slightly.
"....."
Callista couldn't help but smile. He was so cute!
The door suddenly opened and Nisydes glared down at Callista. He knew that she wouldn't have stayed, that she would have followed. Yari looks surprised in the room.
Callist jumped back, still in the crouching position but now against the other wall. She blinked at him in immense surprise. "Um...hi. Sorry, got curious."
"Hn." He began walking down the stairs. Yari walked over to the door, smiling to her, "You know what they say, curiousity killed the kitty cat!"
Callista grinned as she got back to her feet, "I'm no kitty cat."
"But you're nimble like one! I bet you can purr too."
Callista blinked at him. "Why would I purr?"
"Because it's sexy." Giggles a little.
"You're...weird...but I guess it's expected." Callista raised an eyebrow.
Smiles and begins to go downstairs as well. He stops though half way and looks into the living room, "I'll clean the upstairs, okay?" There was a gruff "Hn" as a reply and Yari walked back up the stairs.
Callista watched him in curiosity for a moment before heading back downstairs. "He's really interesting." she said to Nisydes
"Hn. It is annoying." He replied, putting away dishes 'n at.
"I thought I was annoying." Callista said, walking into the kitchen. "But I'm not like him at all."
"You are annoying in a different vay."
Callista thought for a moment. "In what way?"
"You ask too many questions and you are like a child."
Callista glared at that, but decided not to push it. "Very well..." turns around. "At least he's useful..."
"Hn. Is not. It is a vaste, nozing more zan just a machine."
Callista looked at him over her shoulder, "But he's a cute machine."
"Hn."
Callista grinned before going back into the living room and sitting down on the couch. "You know what Nisydes....you need more furniture...."
"I have enough."
"Well...you may think that..." Callista said thoughtfully. "But you can use one more thing..."
"No."
Callista blinked, "I havent even said it yet!"
"I know vat it is. And no."
Callista smirked and looked over to him, "What is it, if you know so much?"
"A bed for it."
Callista laughed, "Not just for it. What about you and me? Do you plan on sleeping on the floor everytime i decided to steal the couch from you?"
Nisydes was silent before he turned and thrusted his hand upwards, "It said it vas cleaning ze upstairs. Go on and help it if you vant a bed...."
Callista grinned and quickly went to him, kissing him on the cheek. "Thanks."
The gesture had been automatic and she didn't think much of it afterwards. She then went upstairs to see what Yari had already finished cleaning.
Nisydes let her kiss him and watched her as she walked upstairs. He thought of it for a while. What did this mean? That he was slowly getting used to her, that he was allowing her into his own personal space?
Was it because he was beginning to view her as his woman? As a wife, as someone to have and to love to claim as his own? Frowning, he leaned against the counter and thought.
Yari was currently washing the blood from the walls, but unsuccessful. They had gone too long without being cleaned, thus, the blood would remain. He didn't look tired, or stressed for that matter.
He merely had that soft smile on his lips that hid any true feelings.
Callista watched Yari try to clean for a moment. "Do all the walls look like that?"
Walking over she looked at them, "Damn...why did Nisydes had to pick such a place..?"
Yari looked over to her, giggling, "Because no one else would want to live here, but I guess that backfired!" Standing, he put down the wet cloth. Ah, well, blood didn't bother him much anyway...
Callista sighed, "I guess...Hey, Yari. How much can you lift?"
"Uhm... I'm not too sure, but we can try!" Is all bishi.
Callista grinned, "Okay then. A trip it is. Lets go." She heads back downstairs.
"Okay!"
Follows.
Nisydes is doing exercises in the living room.
Glances at Nisydes,"Bye!" Then walks out, heading for her apartment.
Yari waves to a gruffly confused looking Nisydes as he follows, "Where are we going?"
"To get a bed."
"Okay! Where at?"
"My place...it's about a mile from here."
"That's where the bed is, right?"
"Thats right. I figure we can just use the one I have. Its a king. It came with the place."
Blinks, "We?"
Callista blinks back, "Oh don't get me wrong. We'll probably end up taking turns or something."
So lost now, "Taking turns?"
"Yeah, sleeping on it....wait...do you sleep?"
Smiles, "Yes. There's no sunlight here." -Mai Lynn would like to note that sunlight thing is BS. After all, we're just Rping, it's just for fun.
Callista was soo curious, "Is that where you get energy from? The sun?"
"Yep!"
"Interesting."
Smiles to her, "Do you sleep a lot?"
Callista shrugs, "Now and then. Depends on how much I fed or what I do."
"Ah! Well, I sleep like a human, on a regular basis." Seems so happy to say that.
Callita pats his head again, "Thats good. Being human is okay."
Laughs, delighted.
They were half way there. "Sorry about earlier. I didnt mean to rat on you."
"Huh?"
Callista shook her head, "Nevermind. So, I see Nisydes doesn't particularly think fondly of you."
A soft meaningful smile spreads to his lips as he looks at the road ahead of them, arms behind his back, "We have a history...."
Callista blinks, "Really? Tell me about it."
"Since we were gifts, we spent some time on Earth...." His eyes kind of get a far away look to them, "A lot happened there, but then Mistress Zaini sent us here..."
Callista leaned in closer, immensely interested. "What happened there exactly, before you got sent here?
His smile flickers slightly, "There was a woman, and a kitty, and a lot of things...."
Callista blinked, "A woman and a kitty?"
"yes."
"Go on."
Yari's voice is a bit shaky, but still smiling, "It was just us two, but then this lady came.... She didn't like me, at all, and Nisydes only allowed her in because she was about to die... And.... After a while, I found a kitty cat..."
"About to die...?" Callista thought curiously, but decided to let Yari finish. This topic seemed to have a strange effect on him. "What happened to the cat?"
Flinches, "...I killed it..." Spoken softly.
Callista stops, "Why?"
He stopped as well, but only after a few more steps, "We were on the balcony, and.... It jumped on the rail, but I wasn't watching...."
"It fell off?" Callista asked, slightly confused. "But that wouldn't be your fault."
"We've been through this, I killed it."
Callista blinked. He was so strange. "I'm sorry."
Still smiling and just waits for her to continue.
Callista starts walking again, "Tell me about this woman...what did you mean by that she was about to die?"
"She was really injured." Geeeeh, doesn't want to talk anymore...
Callista caught on, she was a good observer after all. "We'll almost there."
"Is it me, or am I getting soft?"
Han't wanted to talk about this since the beginning though!! But he has to smile, always has to, even if he's crying. "Okay."
I said she was good, i didnt say she was the best, lol. After a while, they finally ended up infront of a extremely tall appartment building. Though most of it was intact, it looked like a bomb had went off or a war took place inside it. "Here we are. I hope you don't get tired cause my place is at the very top and there's not elevator."
"I'm an andriod." Smiles to her, seems to be back to happy genki mode.
"Thought so." Callista said before putting in the code to unlock the door. Walking in, the building wasn't in too much bad shape...it just had burnt walls and pieces of wall everywhere...not to mention some blood stains here and there. She started her ascend upstairs.
He follows her, "Which floor are you on?"
"30. The top.."
"Wow!!"
"Yeah, luckily the elevator didn't break till after I became a vampire. Otherwise this wouldve been a pain coming back every day."
Laughs, "Wow, you must be very strong then!!"
Callista shrugs and started taking the steps three at a time. "Vampires are strong by nature."
"That's good then, isn't it?"
Callista shrugged, "Its a good point."
"Its the reason why I hunt them afterall."
"Because you are one?"
Callista laughed, "No, cause they're strong."
"So you fight to get stronger!"
Callista shrugged, "Pretty much. The stronger I get the stronger the vampires I get to hunt."
Thinks, "Then why did you kill that weak vampire?"
Callista laughed again, "Cause I didn't want it to kill someone as interesting as you."
Looks surprised.
"Also, he was pretty evil looking. I like killing evil things aswell."
Breaks into a big heart warming smile.
Callista looks at him, and freaking couldn't help smiling back.
"Are we almost there?" Smile smile
Callista looks up the stairs, "Almost. Just ten more floors. Lets sped up a bit."
"Okay!"
Callista moves a little faster, wondering if Yari can keep up.
Runs after her.
Callista grins and after a while of this they finally reached the top. There was a long hallway on the last floor, with the last door being hers. "Almost there."
"Okay!" Isn't out of breath or anything.
"Interesting." They finally reach the door, which Callista unlocks and opens. Inside is a pretty spacious appartment with a large screen TV in the living room and several types of different weapons on the walls and in one open room that seemed to be a second bedroom, but was turned into an armory. "Home sweet, whatever."
Giggles, "That's a funny way to say that..."
Callista grinned and walked in. She headed for her bedroom, ignoring the rest of the house. Inside her room was a king sized bed with a black comforter, a dresser with a cracked mirror, a large wardrobe in the corner and a huge glass door next to the bed that was attached to a balcony. To the right was a door that lead to the bathroom.
"Hmm...now how are we going to get it out of here..." She muttered, stopping in front of the bed.
Yari beamed as he replied, "We could break down the walls to make room!"
Callista grinne and patted his head again as she walked out the room, "You read my mind Yari." (literally LOL)
She then disappeared into the room full of weaponry.
Yari beamed as he followed her, happy to be of help.
Callista digs around for a while before coming out with a special black pistol that looked much larger and had attacthments you wouldn't see on a normal weapon.
"Watch this..." she said as she walked back into the bedroom.
Moving to the other side of the room , Callista aimed at the wall next to the glass door leading to the balcony. Pulling the trigger, a stake/drill looking object shot out with a loud bang and embeded itself into the concrete. There was a red light at the top, which started to blink. Callista then repeated with the wall on the other side.
"Better stand back..."
