Shine
On
by K.
Mason
What
is it about the night sky
That
holds our attention so?
It
represents beauty in its finest form,
Untouched
by the hands of men.
Untouched
and sinless and perfect,
The
stars set in place
By
the very hand of God.
And
no matter where we go,
We
are never too far away
To
see the light.
We
are all like the stars in the sky,
Alone
and apart from one another.
And
we are sinking into our own darkness,
Just
as the black void of the sky tries
To
devour the light of the stars.
Shine on.
