Oranges ala Maude

(this was a poem written for spanish class and since I took the time to write it I thought I might as well post it as well. The spanish version is the next chapter(and please don't slam me if it's not perfect... I tried) So read and let me know what you think)

The orange

The jewel from the bloom.

It’s skin glows with warmth,

Under the mellow southern moon.

It’s sphere shines with life

In the light of the summer sun.

It’s sweet fragrance,

Fills the warm air;

As it is slowly plucked from among the leaves.

The jewel out of the blooms.
