We could stay together,
That we wouldn’t separate,
And we could live in our own little worlds
(where everything is perfect,
and goes our way).

I wish...

This day never existed,
So that it was a few months ago
(when this day was so far from our minds
and it was painless when we said
good bye).

I wish...

That all this could come true, that
We could be together forever, and that
Our good byes wouldn’t be our lasts,
(but then again...
wishes don’t always come true...)

I wish...

Time moved slower
And it wouldn’t be this day,
So we’d be children forever
Without a care in the world.

I wish...

This was all a dream,
And that’d we’d wake up any minute,
But it isn’t,
I can only hope,
My wishes will come true someday.
