Time Entwined in Desire

That gentle caressing motion he makes

As the picture fades from out of view,

Bringing closer the last gaze of a starlight

Lit through the fires of burning passion—

He holds himself tightly against the clouds,

As the second one comes nearer,

Sifting ever closely to that newly-lit fire

Of glory and disguise unmasked—

A desolate wind moves inwards past him,

As the one he loves holds his own heart out,

Reaching out to let him look deep within

To a world of peaceful bliss wrapped in charm—

Together, they breathe deeply in tears no more,

As the yearning love draws nearer to the moon,

Grasping hold their dreams of a love in fire,

Closing the gap of ice,

To a time entwined in desire.
