Dear little one, if I could I’d take your place,

Because I’m sorry it’s not me.

But remember God’s loving grace.

Dear little one, I know not all,

But I too carry a stabbing pain.

But remember God won’t let you fall.

Dear little one, you wish for it to stop,

I can see it clearly in your eyes.

But remember God will bring you to the top.

Dear little one, I hear your crying sigh,

Any my heart lies in a shattered mess.
