Ode to a Friend

Although friends should be honest and truthful…
Friendship does not mean that you can say whatever you want—it does mean sometimes biting your tongue.
Friendship brings about support and lended ears.
Friendship does not mean that you have to always give your opinion at every chance.
Friendship sometimes means keeping secrets, but not getting mad when your friend won’t tell you the most recent, juiciest gossip.
Just because your friends doesn’t mean that you need to know everything.
Being a friend is low maintenance, listening, and support.
