I was at Coventry station
The other night.
The last time I saw you,
You left me around the corner
As I ran to catch my train
(Which I missed).
I half-expected
To see you there,
Catching your breath
And lighting a cigarette.

It's been more than a year
Since you last breathed my name
But every night
Before I sleep
I scream yours,
And I promise I will stop
If you stop haunting my dreams.
