“DINNERS READY!” From all areas of the house, people ran into the kitchen and nabbed seats. Jacky hopped into Louise’s seat and stuck her tongue out at her.

“ahahaha you snooze you lose!”

“SHUT THE HELL UP SLUT!”

“WHORE!”

“BITCH!” Santon smacked the table in front of them.

“Girls girls…no need to fight like that! After all…its Christmas!” Jacky and Louise looked guiltly down at the table. Damiez glanced around at the people seated at the table. Kyle and Santon sat together, piling turkey onto their plates. Sitting on the other side of Kyle was April and Alex, who were laughing at something Roxy had said. Rorri sat next to her twin and Sonny next to her. Jess was helping Sam put food onto her plate, though she was grumbling about how she was able to do it herself. Marge sat next to Jacky and was yelling at Jess to pass the beans. Damiez smiled. It had been nearly two weeks since everyone had returned home, and everthing was settling back to normal.

Somehow, Gabriel fixed the damage down the block where Sprio had worked, and then disappeared with a wistful smile and a promise to visit them some day. The city of new york was hardly aware anything had happened, except for maybe the sighting of Damiez, but after two weeks, experts began to inform everyone that the sighting had just been a hoax.

Bade returned to his family, a changed guy er….werewolf. He gave up trying to be an assassin. Since Sprio’s company is now under new management, Bade has conveniently taken up the job.

Emily had also discovered, to her dismay and horror, that her pregnancy was also a fraud, and that Kalib would just have to wait to be born. Damiez had noticed she had been slightly depressed by what she had learned. He realized, thinking about her, that she wasn’t at the table. Quickly he excused himself and went in search of her.

He found her on the roof, looking out over the fields, watching the stars twinkling above her as her long dark hair blew to the side. Damiez sat down next to her and looked at her sideways.

“Are you all right Em?” She turned her head and smiled at him.

“I’m fine Dammy Wammy. “ Damiez sighed. Kyle’s new fascination, Damiez had discovered, was now Santon, who allowed the vampire privileges that Damiez never had. He didn’t want to think of what those privileges however.

“Very funny. But I’m serious. I know your upset about the baby…” Emily just smiled.

“Its allright. I don’t think that was suppose to be a real baby anyway. Just got you thinking about spending the rest of your life with me.” Damiez balked and blushed. Emily laughed and put her head on his shoulder.

“Kyle told me.” He gave her a side long glance.

“He did, did he? Well remind me to kill him later…” Emily giggle and leaned her mouth close to his.

“So do you?”

“Do I what?” Damiez was forgetting what he was talking about, her mouth so close to his.

“Want to be with me forever.” Damiez instantly forgot about kissing those lips and leaned away, staring at her like she had two heads. Emily frowned.

“Don’t look at me like that.”

“Well I’d have to think about it.” Her eyebrows rose.

“Oh yeah? How long would that take?”

“A few years….” Emily’s face went dark.

“A FEW YEARS?!” Damiez laughed.

“I’m kidding.”

“Well how about we wait…..2 minutes?” Emily pushed him onto his back and climbed on top of him, laughing. They rolled around on the roof for a few moments before settling back, side to side, on their backs, looking at the moon and the stars.

“What was with that green smoke thing you were holding when we were in New York? You never told me.” Damiez said after a little while. Emily’s face went wistfully gloomy.

“What?” Damiez asked, turning to look at her.

“Gabriel helped me split my power.”

“Huh?”

“My power. I split it in half.”

“What for?!”

“Gabriel couldn’t break through Sprio’s spell without my power mixed with his. Kinda like trying to sneak by a dog by going upwind to it. So that he didn’t detect it and was able to break through the spell.”

“What happened after Kyle went back to normal?” Emily studied the stars.

“I’m pretty sure it’s gone to find someone compatible for its power.”

“You mean theres going to be TWO earth elementals now?!” Emily nodded.

“Probably. But it means that I wont have to carry the world’s burden on my shoulder.”

“Oh yeah…well that’s a perk. What if the power goes to a guy?! What will he be? The Father?” Emily burst into laughter.

“Yeah probably!” Damiez frowned.

“Its not funny!” Emily continued laughing. He stood up with a frown.

“Oh come on Dammy! It was just a joke…I mean…the father?! Ahahaahahaha!” She stood up next to him and pulled him toward him, and gave him a deep kiss. He tried to deepen the kiss but she pulled away.

“Everyones going to be looking for us.” Emily said, giving a little grin.

“Aww….screw them! And its Christmas!” She put her small soft hand into his large calloused one. She gave him a smile.

“Hey….you can have your Christmas present later…when we go to bed….” Damiez’s eyes widened and he followed her down the stairs.

“Ok…I think I can wait til then…Merry Christmas Em.” He kissed the top of her head. She looked up at him, her eyes twinkling.

“Merry Christmas….Fluffy!”

Indy: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Damiez: (pats her shoulder) oh there there…its ok…

Indy: ITS ALL OVER! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Damiez: well you can start the sequel then!

Indy: yeah…yeah I’ll do it tomorrow…I’m tired!

Damiez: ahahahahahaha
