I see the purple clouds
And the lavender trees
I see the candy hours
I see the midnight stream

I see the sharpened moon
Shining down on my earth
I see the grasses swoon
Against a wind with hurt

I see the dazzling lake
Across the sandy shore
I see what the ripples make
I've never seen it before

I see the mermaids dance
To the tune of the reeds
I see the whispering branch
Reach out and sing to me

I see my own escape
I don't see reality
I see where happiness is made
I see what's in my dreams
