Friends

Friends will come,

Friends will go,

When they do,

I’ll never know.

For the smile behind a lie,

That they try hard to hide,

For I will never know what’s going on.

Float along the friendships,

Which pass me by,

Faster then the blink of an eye,

And I will never understand why.

Now I sit and wait,

For my friendships to evaporate,

Then they’ll be gone,

And I’ll have no one.

For now I’ll just bare it,

For now I’ll just smile.

For now I’ll forget,

My friendships to end,

In a short while.
