Silence

Silence.
It surrounds me.
Comforts me.
Encloses me.
Making me feel safe.
In a time of need.

When I get too,
stressed,
worried,
tired,
sick,
depressed.

Silence saves me,
from so much.
What I can and cannot take.
Silence saves me from you.

The silence can't save me
from some things though.

In the silence,
the solitude.
Makes me think.
Think about the things,
I don't have time to think about.

The things I don't wanna think about,
the pain,
the horror,
the nightmare,
the reality,
of it all.

Silence.
My blessing and my curse.
