FAMILIAR MEMORIES

10-28-04

AuthorNinjaearth

I walked through the bright lawn

Of green grass and falling leaves

Only to find that it reminded me

About my days of study and scholarship

All about my keyboarding and

Researching a very diligent study hour

For many with tight tasks and spinning heads

I strolled though that place

Observing all that took place

Remembering the days when my mind

Remained entangled, broken, & unkind

I sought to run around prancing

In my backpack cancelling

The drowsiness of my eyes and

My soothing mind surrenders to my moral ties

All this I know too well

The only unknown thing

Is whether or not that memory

Will ever be re-enchanted
