I remembered

that you were filled

with these storms.

The electricity saturated your movements, and

your breath filled the room with

anticipation.

Your voice was rolling overhead

and was powerful, and

your movements flashed in colors

too bright for my eyes

as you moved closer.

You looked at me with

heavy clouds, filled to burst,

shades of dark slinking past

the sun.

You were brisk and

unruly, and

the directions you chose were never the same.

You pushed,

forceful, and

indecisive, and I felt each tug

turn me, and weave a knot

in my hair that brushed on the back

of my neck

until

the light touch

fell upon me and slid

across my hand and turned into

a pounding that I knelt in, to cover my head, and

the sun followed, and it was

a rare and curious thing.

Needless to tell you, it rained today.
