Hi there! I shouldv'e been working at my story, but there was this incident... and... this poem came to life after that. I was feeling pretty down one day, and I was even crying. The reason is personal. Yet the weird thing was that... it was raining the whole time of my breakdown. As in, it was raining REAL HARD the whole time. And when I stopped, so did the rain.
It's probably obvious by now that this was my source of inspiration for this poem. Some parts are exaggerated, but most of it is true. So... read on! Enjoy! )
ps: I wanna thank my friends for helping me during that time. Thanks guys! )
BETWEEN TEARDROPS AND RAIN
by: Eyes of Amethyst
Distortions all around me
I cannot clearly see
No matter how I shout around
There’s no one there but he
Staring at my crumpled self
His wicked laugh I hear
He walks away to leave me be
No one is even near
So now he’s gone; I see that now
He’s left me all alone
To mourn over my precious loss
My lips breathe out a desperate moan
Unfortunate this day has been
I clearly notice now
With all this pain I will still try
I’ll still be sane; I don’t know how
For I am not a weak-willed girl
I stand up on my feet
The heavy drops of rain around
I listen to its steady beat
My eyes are closed; I twirl around
Rejoicing with the downpour
And so my lips turn up so slight
Despite the thunder’s roar
Looking down I see their graves
And the flowers there
So soaked with that of tears and rain
Without them here I feel so bare
The cleansing drops now fall so fast
My heart feels so much pain
I understand; that there’s really no
No difference between teardrops and rain
