I sit by the phone
Anxiously awaiting
“What?” you ask.
For the phone call…
Does he like me?
Does he want me for more than sex?
Am I being played?
Why doesn’t he call?
If he liked me—wouldn’t he want to KNOW me?
I want to KNOW him.
Predict his thoughts
Know his next move
Every inch of his body
I want to be his
Does he want to be mine or am I just a young girl that he’s using as a toy?
I know he’s busy…
So am I.
But why doesn’t he answer when I call?
Did I screw up today?
Is my mouth too much?
Did the voice mail message push him away?
Please call, for today I think you’re the one.
