whoring tragedy

and oh, i hope you find me
so very tragically teenaged
walking this tightrope of cliche rebellion and retreacted suicide notes
that overwhelms me into another pack of cigarettes and another
body shot,
counting down bones to absolutely nothing
tricking myself into believing these plans and goals and aspirations
will magically appear once i reach seventy-five pounds
sconfident i can avoid careening and crashing
an 18-year-old graveyard statistic,
just because my ability
to be the latest vogue tragedy
earned me a v.i.p. pass to the viper room
and a reality show on mtv-
