Author’s Foreword

Dear Reader.

If memory serves correctly, it has been over a year since the last update of Warriors of Legend. Many of the old fans of this medieval tale had gone, and with nothing to clue them in to its fate other than the “going under severe re-write” notice on my homepage.

The rewriting’s done, and the story’s plot has been completely reworked. Not to worry, though… the core characters are still the same. After spending over a year pondering over the fate of this dragging tale, I have finally completed the series of small tweaks that will lead “Warriors of Legend” farther on the road to glory. As you can tell by the title, the time period has been shifted back to the age of the Crusades. And likewise, to stay as true as I can to that time period, many of the female character’s roles had been either reduced or changed to males. Consequently, I’ve also modified other characters to suit my needs, merged characters together, and even split characters apart. Therefore, for the female activists out there… sorry, Riona will be the only fighting girl here. But worry not, she’s still the one narrating the tale… just this time, her words will be different after its long absence from FictionPress.

Well, now it’s back, and perhaps with this new and improved edition I can redeem my sins to the faithful fans out there that had constantly checked up on the status of this story. Perhaps, you can still find the remnants of the original prose in there. I can’t be certain. To all those brilliant writers who contributed their imaginations to the making of this story: this is for you.
