Wait for me at the
Fifth turnstile
On the path to
Kuala Lumpur.

My tripping toes
My well have kept me
Far behind your time.

Pray, be patient.

Do not stray from there
My darling,
For I shall follow
Soon.

But be sure not to stay
So perfectly still,
Your sorrow should
Pierce my soul.

So,
Fear not to embrace the
Sweet scented silks
Gliding soundless o’er
Air that surrounds you.

Nor do resist the
Quick chasing thrill
Of these soft-moving maidens
Before you.

Run to all those that shall
Clasp joy around you,
And ne’er let your feet
Touch this withered earth.

For all I can do is
Paint you these things
On a shoddy, cracked,
Hole-ridden canvas.

I have them not.

So give your action
No second thought.

Just wait for me,
At the fifth turnstile,

And I shall follow
Soon.
