As she breathed in, she smelled the salt air as the waves from the nearby ocean crashed onto the rocky shoreline where she used to surf as a child. Running her hands through her thick russet-colored hair she realized that she was not alone. Turning on her well tanned side she looked and gazed at the creature laying next to her, his magnificently masculine body covered by the silk sheets that she bought at the Chinese textile shop in Soho on her last trip to New York City. She decided to let him sleep, he needed his rest, the night was long and arduous. Things like this happen when two people have their passions pent up for too long. It had been nearly six months since she had last seen him, the one who she had given everything to. She yawned, stretched her cat like body and rose to go out to take a swim, maybe get out her old board and see if she still had what it took to ride the waves down in the OBX. Gazing out the small window of her beachfront apartment she heard a rustling of sheets behind her, then a small but affectionate kiss on her neck,
"Kam, I thought you were up."
