Heart calling.

Blood churning.

Soul falling.

I sit in the dark,

The dark that hides.

I wait for the sun,

The sun that shines.

Mind grasping.

Heart reaching.

Blood curdling.

Soul screeching.

I sit in the grass,

The grass that grows.

I wait for the flowers,

The flowers that show.

Mind spinning.

Heart burning.

Blood boiling.

Soul yearning.

I sit in the ocean,

The ocean that’s deep.

I wait for the waves,

The waves that creep.

Mind fighting.

Heart keening.

Blood pumping.

Soul screaming.

I sit in rejection,

Rejection that’s cruel.

I wait for acceptance,

Acceptance that soothes.

Mind stretching.

Heart wrenching

Blood bubbling.

Soul clenching.

I sit among enemies,

Enemies that kill.

I wait for my love,

My love who heals…

Mind fading…

Heart crying…

Blood stilling…

Soul dying…
