Blur Of Words

Staring in the book
Words sitting in front of me begging to be read
I stare closely and try to make them out
I read each one one by one and try to string them together to make a story
But nothing happens
Words roll by and they never click
It's not what it used to be
I can't get lost in someone else's story
And forget my own
I stare at the page and it all becomes nothing
But a blur of words
