What wonders await me
In your eyes
No one can tell,
That deep placid ocean
That sings in the
Night time,
Keeps me close,
Holds me warm.

Your trusting hands
Have guided me
To it countless times,
That gentle wondering
Way, whispering,
"Fear not my love,
I am with you."

And I trod the water as though it
Was dampened earth,
New washed with
Springs sweet dew.

When white silk whirls
Above my head
As I plummet through
The vacuum left, departed,
Your arms await at the
Pump, and I'm caught
In the sweetest trap
Imaginable.

Here, lay beside me,
Your presence is essential,

I could not possibly live
Without your lulling tide.
