Human Masquerade/ Tree of Fools

unthinking minds softly strangled sobs
resonating though this the burning room
the mourning gravestones are not bitter
it in itself is reason to grieve, though

persuasive silence shining shimmers
above the cross upon the stone
clouds, skyborn often whisper
Death or metal ever roams

And away from the forest
bloodstained leaves and tragedy
The neverending rustling parting plains
moonlight off the knife edge glitters

A veiling mist from dreaming soul
reaches far off shores and
resolving mental flaws devours
rippling pureborn bloodstained hearts

the unsightly gash upon the world
cold humanity's deathly complacent guise
truly the false masquerade is over
grim reality is here to play
