I am a demon, destined for hell.
I am a turtle, hiding within a shell.
I am a doll, smiling in pain.
I am an athlete, no pain no gain.
I am a foot, sticking in mud.
I am a flower, dying as a bud.
I am a heat wave, searing through June.
I am a season, I'll be ending soon.
Author's note: My teacher wanted us to write a poem that described ourselves. Boy was that a mistake. This was my copy I decided not to turn in...since I'm sure she wouldn't have liked it too much...
