Title: Unwanted Power : Blood of the Devil and God
Summary:
Kit was just another ordinary teenage girl. Before she could really graduate from her school, something unexpected happened. A sealed power that was within her unlocked? And the power was so powerful that people went after her just because of it? What is she going to do?
Chapter one
A power released!
“Mom! I am off!” A girl with short black hair shouted as she ran off in a hurry. She was wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans. Her pure black eyes behind that dark blue spectacle made no impression that she was actually a 19 years old teenage girl. She was also listening to her music as she made her way. The name of the girl is Kit.
Running down the path, Kit kept her eyes on her watch. She knew she wasn’t late. In fact she was never late as far as she remembered.
“1 more minutes before the train arrived! Alright! I’m right on time!” Kit whispered as she made her way through the gate and down the stairs. She didn’t know that this was her last time she was ever normal again…
Kit stood by the train door and looked out of the windows as darkness turned into light. Rows of building appeared before her eyes. It was per usual, or so she thought. Her usual third year lessons, it was her final year after all. She was heading for school to check about her company she was going to work in over her 18 weeks.
‘Hope things turn out fine.’ Kit thought.
Meanwhile, at the front of the train, the train driver was focusing himself on the path. There were several cases of people committing suicides on train tracks. Since there was no evidence of murder, these cases were considered as unnatural death. Just then, just before the train could arrive at the station, the driver spotted a girl, dressed in pure pink dress, staring blankly at the azure sky. As immediate as it seems, the driver pulled the immediate brake button to stop the train. The screeching sound made by the friction of the wheels against the track covered the screams of shock from the people aboard. The train came to a stop, a few meters away from the girl.
Kit was rather stunned by the sudden stop of the train. It wasn’t normal for the train to come to an immediate stop, not especially when it wasn’t stopping at the station itself. Passengers onboard seem to have calm down a little after the train stopped. A few had made their ways to the front to ask the driver the matter. Kit, however, felt a sudden weird feeling. A feeling that she had felt it once in her life and never more… A feeling that gave her the creep that something was going to happen… Something that she didn’t want it to happen… But what?
“What’s going on?” A man asked the driver as he made his way out of his control station.
“A girl was standing there minutes ago but she suddenly disappeared into thin air,” the driver explained.
“Are you dreaming?” A woman beside the man questioned.
“I hope he wasn’t,” Another man replied as he pointed to the control room. They turned around to see the girl standing there, with her eyes closed, smiling evilly at them.
“Let’s play some game shall we?” The girl asked, as she opened her pure white eyes.
Screams of horror sounded through the first cabin of the train as people pushed their way out. ‘Ghost’ and ‘Murder’ were the words that came out of the mouth of those people. Kit looked as people ran with horror to the back of the train to make their escapes. She wasn’t sure what was going. Or should she say, she had no idea what exactly was going on. Maybe no one knew. But something bad was happening at the front that made people feared. Just when Kit was thinking about it, from the corner of her eyes, she spotted the girl. Blood had soaked her beautiful pink dress red. Kit’s eye’s widened with shocked as she stared at the girl. This wasn’t right!
“Where’s everyone? I was just about to have some fun,” The little girl said into the thin air, “Why is everyone hiding from me?”
“You are the evil spirit,” An old woman, appeared out of no where, spoke in chinese, “You should be vanished.”
“There’s someone who wants to play with me finally,” the little girl smiled a little, “I’m so glad.”
“Vanish!” The old lady shouted as she showed her cross.
“Tricks like that wouldn’t work on me,” The little girl eyed the old lady with a smile.
Blood was the next thing that came into Kit’s sight. The right arm of the old lady was being sliced off from her. Screams of pain were heard from the old lady that gave the creep up Kit’s spine. Her mind was switched off. She had no idea what to do. She was shivering in fear herself.
“This is your punishment for not playing by my rules,” The little girl replied, “I am going to cut you up into pieces.”
“Stop…” Kit found herself whispered, “Stop… what you are doing…”
The little girl turned to face Kit. Her white eyes made Kit shivered even more. She wasn’t sure why she was feeling this creepy but those eyes just made her did!
“I see another one wants to play with me,” The little girl smiled, “I’m just so happy!”
“Cut the crap!” Kit shouted, “You are the one, who cause the fear, aren’t I right?”
“Fear? I create fear?” The little girl asked in an unhappy tone, “Who are you to question me!”
A blast of force hit Kit hard as it sent her flying and hit the door forcefully.
“You, humans, are weaklings,” The little girl replied, “You guys must be eliminated.”
“Who are you to eliminate us? Who are you to have the rights to do so?” Kit asked. The pain from the impact was killing her, and killing her badly.
“I am the guardian from hell,” The little girl replied, “And I have all the rights to kill you.”
“Whether or not you are the guardian from hell, you have no rights to kill anyone,” Kit replied in a weak tone.
Another blast of force knocked her off the ground and sent her hitting the seats.
“How dare you!” The little girl shouted in an unusual tone, “I am going to kill you.”
More blasts of force were caste towards Kit, ripping her clothes. Blood flew down her arms and legs and faces. Everything before Kit was becoming more and more blur.
‘I guess this is the end of me…’ Kit thought as she lied still on the ground.
Do you want to be saved?
Who are you?
I am you.
What are you talking about?
I am your past, your present and your future.
My past, present and future?
Are you going to take my offer?
Offer?
To protect this world.
I am not a savior.
You are not alone, Kit.
What do you mean?
There are people who need you here.
There aren’t.
Live on. It’s a life of must. Now release your power. Unleash your memories. Become who you are meant to be.
And everything became blank to Kit.
Meanwhile, the little girl stared at Kit’s body with much displeased. She hated this girl. She had spoilt her fun for the day. Walking away from Kit’s body, she made her way down the cabin when just then, a strange yet powerful force radiated from behind her. Spinning around, she found herself looking at Kit, whom by then was standing with her eyes closed. Her wounds had fully healed. A dark presence surrounded her that made the little girl back away.
“Who the hell are you?” The little girl asked.
“Level 3 demons are getting wilder this time I see,” Kit spoke in a very deep voice, “I feel sad for you.”
“What?!” The little girl shouted in irritation.
“I should really clean up the mess you make,” Kit smiled as she opened her eyes, giving the girl an uncomfortable and uneasy feeling.
“What?” The little girl whispered out of fear.
“In my name, I call upon ‘e gate,
‘E gate that leads to heaven,
‘E gate that leads to hell,
To send off the punishment,
In the name of God.”
As the spell was chanted, the girl watched in surprised. This wasn’t happening…
“You are Kit,” The little girl spoke in a fearsome voice, “You are that Kit… That…”
“Bye,” Kit bided goodbye as the girl vanished into thin air, leaving no trace. Before Kit fainted, she whispered into the air:
Live on. For you hold the key. Live on. For you are the chosen one.
Live on, as you are the guardian of darkness.
