Graduation
Memories of all the times we had,
All the laughs, tears,
Happiness, sadness, craziness,
It’s hard to let go.
We were so blind to this day,
To us, it never would come,
Every day, we pretended nothing would change,
And that we’d see each other again.
Tears flow down our cheeks,
As we sway together, in unison, one last time,
Hug tight and remember in hushed whispers,
As we’d sing the song that would mark our end together:
As we go on, we remember,
All the times we had together,
And as our lives change, some what ever,
We will still be, friends forever.

Today I graduated, and I still cannot believe it. I am going to miss everybody so much. 6 years of friendships down the drain. No more of my best friends and me singing, no more of my boys fooling around with my skirt, no more of my girls having my back, no more running from the mobs of my classmates begging me for food, no more familiarity...
