fall like your beauty into the stagnant air
swishing, switching
time on.off.on.off.

Today you might be oh so glorious
with your glitter and your ribbons and,
pretty eyes like sunken ships of gold,
(my.lit.tle.lol.it.a.)
but the mirror does bend and break,
tomorrow-
your little-girl body will be hideous(ly fake)
with all those horrid scars,
those bones jutting out like diseases
(not an s.t.d.- you're walking innocence but,
barbies don't have bones.) and
You're smiling to the sky,
because as of now, they haven't left you yet...
