A cavern of gloom

I wander

breathlessly in suspense

wordlessly in despair

Faceless stone grins

At my weeping mind

A death in life;

Drawn out

mindless glow of my heart

fading too slowly.

Fragments taunt me

Beg me to reclaim them

No home for them

Until the waters swallow me.
