Kchan: Ick, its a romance poem. I really don't like writing poety, especially anything with romance and such. But I had this idea in my head for a while and decided to write it anyways. :) Hope you like it!

To Whom I Can’t Have

It was my first day as a math teacher,
When I saw her.
She was a student with long brown hair.
She looked too mature for her age,
With sad green eyes,
She was the one I loved most,
But couldn’t have.

The whole year went by,
And I was just content to be near her,
My sad-eyed angel.
She’d smile at me sometimes,
But wouldn’t say a word.
I smiled back,
And I’d pretend I didn’t feel anything.

Then on the last day of school,
She came to me with a note.
It was in a white envelope,
With red flowers.
She said to call her back,
After I had read the entire note,
And then left without looking back.

I opened it, and it went something like this:

“It was my first day of high school,
When I saw him
He was my math teacher,
He looked too handsome to be a teacher.
With chocolate brown eyes,
He was the one I loved most,
But couldn’t have.

The whole year went by,
And I was just content to be near him,
My beautiful teacher.
I’d smile at him sometimes,
But wouldn’t say a word.
He’d smiled back,
And I’d pretend I didn’t feel anything.

Then on the last day of school,
I wrote him a note.
It was in a white envelope,
With red flowers.
I wanted to tell him how I felt.
He’s the one I love most,
And I want him to call me back."
