Lovely Sorceress Éowyn Goldra

Ch. 1: Legend of the Sorceress with the Golden Hair (and Massive Melons)

(A/N: For about a long time, anime and manga about magical girls inspired me to create this)

Long ago, beautiful magic-using women known as the Sorceresses of the Order of Amore have been around, learning all forms of magical art. All they wanted magical knowledge so they could pass it on to others generously. But there were some who lusted for power, so the newly built Kingdom of Darkness known as Barvavus went and destroyed the Sorceresses of the Order of Amore. Very few of the peace-loving Sorceresses survived.

Then in one magical day & night before the Kingdom of Darkness vanished into another dimension… a single surviving member of the Order of Amore was determined to restore the Order, soon she vanished. Soon all recorded history of this kindhearted Order and Barvavus vanished along with her.

But one question remains; will there be another war for to see which force is stronger again?

Now it is the year 2046, one morning in a city called Santa Ozma on an island adjacent to Jamaica and Cuba… in a seemingly small house downtown…

“DARN IT! IT’S ALREADY 6:15 A.M.!”

A young blonde girl of 14 years ran down the stairs while changing into a white-and-blue school uniform (sailor Fuku style if you want to know), her hair is short-trimmed and smooth, she stands at a height of 5’5”, and her blue eyes would sparkle like stars if she was happy (now she’s stressed). Her name is Elizabeth Akuraha, otherwise known as ‘Eliza’ or ‘Elle’.

Eliza asked herself, “Why do I always oversleep like that?” An older female voice from behind her responds, “You worked yourself too hard with your homework.” Elle looked behind her to find her mother, who looks exactly like her except her bust size is more than her daughter’s (Eliza’s a 41B, while her mother’s a 40DD) is and her hair is in a short ponytail. Eliza’s mother, whose name is Haruka Akuraha, works as a teacher at Eliza’s school on the island.

Haruka said to her daughter, “Listen, Eliza dear, instead of double-checking your homework all the time, you could at least get some time off… you’ve been given time off for the last 5 years of your life, and yet I’m surprised that you’re not in the need of goofy glasses.” Elle knew what she meant, “Mom, I’m fourteen, therefore I’m too underage for sexual intercourse and I have to obey that law, and I’m planning to spend some of that time off sometime after college.”

Elle’s mom asked, “Why do you treat me like I’m the town tramp?” Elle simply said, “Before getting married to Pops, you actually were.” Haruka interjected, “Actually, that was after because for my times of loneliness, now just eat your breakfast––“ SLAM! Haruka looked on and found no trace of her daughter, just a missing piece of fruit, closed jars of jelly and peanut butter, and a couple slices of bread missing. Haruka sighs, “Typical; so driven for a great goal of some sort, she’ll get what’s coming to her. I know it.”

It’s not like her mother’s a terrible driver (although she’s not), it’s that she never felt like she deserved some time off. She is driven by a single goal to gain; to be as perfect above possible. Years ago, her elder brother, Gabriel Akuraha, has graduated from college when she was merely 9 years old and he was merely 19, she’s been so proud of him, feeling that that she virtually has the same gift he does, she decided to work her butt off to be as great and is now very serious about it.

Her father? He is an archeologist, a paleontologist, and a part-time substitute professor. He's a tall, handsome, and rich. But the one thing he’s not, is being around for his family, continuously he’s been asked to go on expeditions, so he’s only able to stay on temporary visits. Little did Eliza know that he’s the reason why Gabriel became so good.

She got to the six-story school district building, but before she got to enter her classroom, she got tripped by her own mother’s ankle! And she gets caught in the arms of a young man a year older than her with short brown hair and gentle green eyes and dressed in a blue school uniform before she hits the floor! The 15-year-old’s name is Johnny Hughay, since childhood he and Eliza have been friends.

Eliza got up back on her feet and said to her mother, “That was not very funny.” Haruka said, “Well, you old sourpuss, you left home without a bite of normal breakfast. I hope you settle for a C-.” Eliza became shocked, “I did that badly?” Eliza’s mother explained, “In conduct, not at school, but at home.”

Later that day, after school was done, Eliza had to serve detention from her mother. While mopping the floor in detention, Eliza groaned, “Why did I deserve this in the first place? I didn’t do anything wrong in school!” Johnny came by from behind her and said, “She may be a teacher, but she’s also your mother; she wouldn’t dare let you be teacher’s pet.” Eliza glared at him, “Why are you with her?” Johnny innocently said, “I’m just stating that for the past five years today, you’ve been pushing yourself to be as great as Gabriel. But he had plenty of things to do on his time-offs, including the fun activities other kids and teenagers play or do; such as watch TV, play video games, etc.”

Eliza asks him with a serious expression, “How would you know such things?” Johnny calmly answered, “Your younger siblings Melody and Raphael told me three years ago.”

Johnny continues, “And just a week before last night Gabriel has proposed to supermodel. What do you plan to go to do next after your school life is done?” Eliza pauses her speech and thinks a while as she mops the floor… finally she says as she finished, “I probably would like to be an adventurer.” Johnny sits down in a chair, “Preferably I’d choose to get done with high school and go be a hero like some of those comic book and TV superheroes.”

A raven-haired friend of Eliza’s named Millicent Ohara (also known as Molly) arrived, saying to Johnny, “That’s kind of pathetic, you barely understand the law.” Johnny friendly smiles, “Hey, a guy can dream. Can he?” Eliza said, “At least the legendary Sorceresses of the Order of Amore would be something to look up to.”

Her friends looked at her with confusion. Eliza sighs, “It’s a bedtime story my mother used to tell me when I was a little girl.” Molly said, “Please tell us as we go home.” On their way to their homes, Eliza told the story to her friends…

As they got to her home, she finished telling them the story. Johnny happily sighs, “That sounds like the beginning of an interesting Magical Girl series waiting to begin.” Molly eyes him suspiciously, “Is there anything to change that ridiculous expression on your face, Johnny?”

A young voice from behind the three of them teased Eliza, “You didn’t tell them that story. Did ya, sis?” Eliza turned and found her 15-year-old violet-haired brother, Raphael, smirking at them.

Eliza said to Raphael, “You never found it ridiculous and you collect Magical Girl stuff of decades past and today, and yet you don’t mind what age they’re rated for, Raphael!” Raphael smiles and gets ahead of her sister to the front door, he jokes at her, “You big brat!” Eliza charged to clobber him, but got a face-full of door!

Suddenly Eliza’s 10-year-old pink-haired sister, Melody, came by seeing such discomfort and pain dealt to Eliza! She ran passed her sister and whined out, “MOM! LET ELIZA AND ME IN PLEASE! WE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING BAD AT SCHOOL!”

Johnny gives off a depressed face, “Days like this make me sad at the fact that I’m an orphan. I really envy those with siblings and parents. What wouldn’t I give to know who my family was?” For the longest time in his life, Johnny has wondered who was his family if he had one, that’s part of the reason why he wants to be someone like a superhero.

After about three minutes of Melody’s whining, Raff finally lets the both of them in, only because he saw their mother come in, he never wants to deal with her nagging at him.

As for Eliza, she finished her homework and decided to nap on.

Where Molly is, she was boringly reading through books of manga after finishing her homework, then she thought of something; “Maybe I can get some fun into Eliza if I brought a few of these to her.” Then she realized, “Oh wait! Raff and Melody are collectors of anime and manga, plus she borrows them sometimes, that wouldn’t work… but it’s going to be worth a try.”

Eliza snoozed on, in her dreams she saw her mother and her father dancing in some dreamy location. Suddenly as they kissed, her mother seemed to grow younger until she looked about 21 and her hair exploded into a thick mane. That was enough to spook Eliza to wake up!

Her sudden shock sent a small decorated padded lavender box that was on her left-hand nightstand to her lavender-colored rug-covered floor. The box opened to reveal a light lavender cat-like hedgehog-sized creature. It woke up and yawned, as it looked at Eliza with curiosity… Eliza groans, “First my dream about mom turning into a younger and better-looking woman and now this; a toy critter looking for a theme park.”

The ‘toy critter’ said to Eliza, “I’m not a toy critter.” Eliza said, “Sure whatever.” The creature said, “You look older than I last thought you should be when I last saw you.” Eliza’s eyes widened as she quickly stared at it, “You saw me before? When? Who are you?” “Yes; when you were a toddler; and my name is Mira Kari.” Eliza asked, “What are you?”

Mira Kari said, “Hold on a second.” She seemed to go stretching then she glowed a bright glow and the glow got bigger, as the light faded, a complete housecat like version of her was in her place; she transformed into a different form. Eliza was amazed, “A shapeshifting cat? I heard many animals were supposed to have many special magical powers, but I denied that as just myths!” Mira said, “Well, Elizabeth… I believe it’s been about 10 years I was away, for far too long.”

Eliza asked, “For what?” Mira said, “Maybe not all is lost. Hold out your palm.” Eliza held out her left palm, Mira scratched it with her claws, leaving four deep claw marks onto her palm! Eliza cringed in the pain, she pulled her palm back, she tried her hardest to hold back the pain; she didn’t want anybody in the house to know what’s going on! Suddenly… the pain was gone. Instead of scratches, she got a golden ring with a pink 6-pointed star with a heart in the center.

Eliza was surprised out of her wits, “What is this?” Mira said, “A ring with vast powers, but those powers can be yours if you accept them.” Eliza thought about it and tried on the ring. The heart within the star on the ring glowed as much as her curiosity.

Eliza found words in her head, wanting to come out…

Eliza held her hand up into the air and shouts, “Amore Sorcery… Goldra!”

The whole room became filled with pink, gold, violet, and blue lights! It wrapped around her, nude, and made her body illuminate in the mentioned colors!

She flips her hair back, and she stretches out a bit. Her body began to increase in height a little, as well in beauty! Her hair exploded into a really thick and long mane and body of golden hair! Large bangs of it curled up in places, making her already cute face even prettier! Her breasts grew bigger, until they look like they both are round and firm and look as if they each weigh as much as a large jug of water (42F). Her once human ears morphed into a pointy shape like an elf’s.

The lights formed ribbons that changed the current clothes on her into new garments––

She then stretches out, violet panties form on her, and she twirls a bit as pink fabricated boots with blue puffy sleeves that reach above her ankles formed on her feet. More of the ribbons of light then form a short blue skirt that open in front, then three pink tails form from behind on her skirt.

More of these ribbons of light form into a formfitting violet tube top dress. The pink ribbons of light formed on top of the dress and became like thick ribbon-like shoulder straps that hang loose!

Violet cuffs wrap around her forearms and connect golden knuckle bracelets on top of her hands!

She bends over and a golden belt wraps around her bare waist between the top and skirt and dozens of pink gems dazzled around each golden link!

A golden tiara circlet forms upon her forehead creating a blue and pink gem in place of the mind’s eye! A blue diamond appears and she snatches it in midair and places it on her left ear as an earring and then it formed a string that made the jewel swing like a pendulum.

She then twirls around another band of light and pulls it to her neck to form her choker beneath her neck with a small pink crystal in front.

She opens her now pink eyes (originally they were blue), as she stopped glowing and growing. Takes off the ring and places it onto the pink ribbon-like frill that was along with the straps and it forms a large pink jewel brooch with a pair of golden wings and two blue tail ribbons on the bottom. The jewel is similar to that on her ring!

She ends it with a lovely pose!

Then she noticed! She felt herself all-over her body, as she started with her chest… she noticed that they’re real! She said to herself, “Whoa! I actually changed into a near-adult form? I’ve got to learn how those Magical Girls get used to this!”

Suddenly, she heard a voice in her head, a dark masculine voice said, “At last, after countless centuries past… without a Sorceress of the Order of Amore, we’ll start off with conquering this universe, starting off with this small city.”

Eliza looked in the direction of the source of the sinister sound and said to Mira, “So they are real, the Sorceresses of the Order of Amore. I’ve just become that last one. Did you hear that voice, Mira?” Mira nodded, “Loud and clearly.” Eliza looks at herself and says, “Who am I now?” Mira answers, “The answer is in your head, waiting to come out.”

The Magical Girl said, “Well, one thing’s for sure. Whatever horrid creature I’m about to face is going to be like the monsters and Youma in those Magical Girl genre anime and manga, only worse than imaginable. Still, I have to face it.” Mira smiled, “That’s the way, girl.” Eliza looks at the picture of her cool brown-haired brother, Gabriel, and said, “Gabriel… I’m sorry… a real story is in my future.” Then she heads out the window to battle!

As Molly was about to enter a store that belongs to her mother to buy something just for Eliza… she heard some young girl’s voice screaming from inside! She peered inside and found a small girl being drained of something, but not blood! Molly shouts, “What’s going on here?”

A good-looking green-haired man clad in blue iron appeared and said to Molly, “Just collecting plenty of souls for my kingdom of Barvavus. Is that so wrong?” Molly gasps, “Just like in the story Eliza told me earlier–– I mean yes it is so wrong!” The green-haired man switched from human to a more gargoyle beastly physique in front of her, “Well, that’s too bad! Without a member of the Order of Amore, this world is helpless to any attack from us.”

“We’ll see about that! There’s one place for grotesque statues like you, a churchyard to watch over the innocent as they enter heaven!”

The creature looks behind Molly and finds the magical girl Eliza transformed into. The creature asks, “Who the hell are you?”

She smirks and poses, “I’m the first Sorceress of the Order of Amore in this century! And I am called… the Lovely Sorceress, Éowyn Goldra!”

Molly gasps at the sight of her, “A Lovely Sorceress? Éowyn Goldra?”

The creature growled, “So, one of you little creatures still exist? No matter, I’ll kill you and feast about your flesh!”

As the monster charged for Éowyn Goldra, she simply glided out of the way, forcing him to hit a nearby telephone pole, breaking it with his head, and having it fall and crash! Éowyn leaps from the ground to the top of a nearby car, “Obviously, you’re not the sharpest pencil in the monster box.”

Recovering from the recoil, the monster grinned, “But I am one of the best tools in the woodshed! There may not be one nearby here, but you’re going to be getting a beating anyway, be’itch!” He charged at Éowyn again, this time with some inhuman Kung Fu action!

Éowyn quickly dodges each blow from the monster. She suddenly stopped to notice that she has nowhere else to run, as she feels a concrete wall behind her. As a mighty death blow from the monster was about to strike her down…

BAM! Someone wielding a steel bar left the monster dazed… Éowyn looked and saw someone very familiar… Johnny Hughay! He looks at the bar he hit the monster in the head with and said, “Man, with a hard body of real stone, he must be seriously soft underneath that, he can feel pain through that virtually indestructible hide.”

Éowyn specifically said to Johnny, “Kid, get out of the way, you’ll get killed.” Mira Kari appeared out of nowhere and said to the Sorceress, “The young man has given you a valid point, think of something to destroy the monster.”

The creature began to think Molly was Éowyn through his dazed state and called out, “Fireball Breath Attack!” Johnny went to save Molly, but Éowyn was much faster and took the full blast of the fire attack against her back!

She screamed in agony from the attack, but she and her friends survived. As she opened her eyes, she noticed her burns were no longer there anymore and her crystal pendulum earring upon Johnny’s cheek and thought of something…

As the monster came closer and closer to attack again…

Éowyn grabbed her diamond-shaped crystal earring and shouted out, “Goldra Crystal Shuriken!” and she launched it from her hand like a dart, the string from her ear it hangs from extended to an incredible length as it flew towards her target!

The Crystal Shuriken attack pierced through the monster’s forehead and out through the other side. Immobilized, the monster suddenly turned to dust.

She got up in victory. She looked on at the victims drained of their souls by the monster regain consciousness and look upon her.

Mira Kari telepathically said to her, (“I think it’s time to leave, Éowyn.”) Éowyn smiled and said to her audience, “I’m the Lovely Sorceress Éowyn Goldra, I’ll see you later!” Then she leaped off into the distance!

Back home, as Eliza Akuraha now, she said to herself as she got to the door, “That was so much fun.” And smiled.

As she got indoors to her home, the lights were out… but then…

FLASH!

“CONGRATULATIONS, ELIZA!”

Her mother began glomping her (she’s in a pink bathrobe and a sunny kitchen apron)! There are dessert foods of all kinds, etc.

Eliza asks, “What’s going on, mother?” Haruka says to her daughter, “Well, I guess an explanation is in order.”

Haruka suddenly turns into an exact duplicate of Éowyn Goldra, except in the mortal garments she’s wearing! Eliza suddenly backed up and freaked, suddenly her body began to shape uncontrollably into the exact likeness to Éowyn’s! “What’s happening to me?”

The transformed Haruka said, “Well, how can I say this? Most of the bloodline in our family, mainly on my side are Éowyn Goldra, or other new Sorceresses of the Order of Amore. Now as you grow up, you will forever remain with the exact likeness and powers of the Lovely Sorceress you just become. In the meantime, to keep your friends from getting suspicious, you could try using a few illusionary spells to make your bosom look smaller and cut your hair a little bit. Each of these accidental transformations will make more powers and more strength increased inside you.”

Eliza asks, “Mira Kari?” Mira Kari appears onto her shoulder and asks, “Yes?” Eliza groans, “Sorry, I thought my mother was you a second ago.” Haruka said, “Mira Kari has been the family familiar and loyal friend for millennia, now she’s yours.”

Eliza looks at herself in the mirror, her school uniform is definitely to small for her heavily grown chest. And her hair reaches straight down to her hips. She sighs, “Well… I guess I’m a Magical Girl now.”

Raff and Melody come out of nowhere and ask, “When do we get ours?” Their mother tells them, “When Eliza says when you’re both ready, she’s the head of the female part of the family now.”

Eliza begins snipping some of the magically elongated hair to a shorter length and says, “Homework and school are one thing, but saving the world is going to be different.” Haruka agreed, “Yes. It means that you will never live a normal life as a ‘human’ ever again.”

Back at school the next day…

Molly said to the other girls, “Didn’t you hear? A real live Magical Girl saved the day yesterday, her name was Éowyn Goldra!” One of the girls said, “No way, I thought it was a dream!” Another said, “I think I caught a glimpse of her before she left.”

The boys in Eliza’s class were also commenting on her; “That delicious face.” “That long golden hair.” “Those gentle hands.” “Those gorgeous legs.” “Those big breasts!” “Man, if only a girl like that were more human, who’d give a darn about it?” “No kidding, with a body like that, ‘Playboy’ and ‘Victoria’s Secret’ would be killing each other for her as their model.”

Molly asks Eliza, “What do you think, Elle?” Eliza didn’t say anything; she was just commented by the others on how her hair has gotten a little longer, how her bosom began to fill in, and how prettier she’s becoming. Eliza groans, “As soon as my mother arrives, tell her that I’ll be taking a nap.”

Johnny came by Eliza and said, “Actually, we’re having a substitute teacher today.” That woke Eliza up all the way, “Substitute?” Most of the other students sighed, “Movie day.” Whenever a substitute teacher comes, the class is allowed to watch a movie.

Then the substitute teacher arrived… she has jet-black hair and familiar violet eyes, and she’s dressed in a lavender dress and is very pretty.

Eliza recognized her immediately, “Mira Kari?” Mira nodded, “Hello, everyone! I’m Mira Kari, your substitute teacher while Ms. Haruka Akuraha is away.”

Eliza gets a feeling that it’s going to be a tough job as a real magical girl.
