Mercy of the shadows

I hear the call of the darkness,

Asking me to join them,

Tempting me

With talk of love and lust,

Seducing me,

Controlling me,

They want me,

Will you let them have me?

Will you allow them to take me?

Will you let me go with out a fight?

Will you let me be seduced by the devil?

Must I be taken?

Must I lose my innocence?

Must I allow the demons to consume me?

Must I be clamed by the darkness?

Will you leave me to the mercy of the shadows?

Did you even you love me?

Did you ever even care for me?

If you did than,

Why did you leave me to the mercy of the shadows?

I don’t think it’s too much to ask,

Will you come to my rescue?

Will you save me from those?

Who will only use me?

Abuse me,

Seek to harm me?

Will you leave me to the mercy of the shadows?

I thought you were my knight in shining armor.

You were the one I trusted more than any one else

And you betrayed me!

Left me for the demons to claim.

Why?

All I ask is why…
