I hold you close
In your dieing moment
Unable to look away
Unable to tare my gaze away

'Sorry' you mumble
Sorry you say
I deny the faults you think you have
That it wasn't your's to bare

I held you close
Not wanting to let go
Holding onto the mortal body
Your soul gone from my grasp

My will no longer lives
As your soul leaves me
My mind no longer able to bare the world
As you were the only good thing left

In the mind set of my grief
I no longer long to live
I wish not to take another breath
Knowing it's without you

I dare not look
Into your open eyes
Never accusing me
Of the fault that is mine

Selfishly I give into death
I not wanting to live
Having to ties left
My world shattered

My mind no longer thinks
My heart starts to slow
My will to live broken
My world shattered

A lone cry breaks through the silence
A little cry telling me not to give in
Almost regretfully I pull away from death
Wanting to give in

I slowly wake
Not daring to look into your loving eyes
I see those around me
Saddened that I had almost given up

I look one last time
The last time I'll see you
Tears decorated my eyes
My tears of loneliness
