Working Though a Storm

The storm is coming,
We all knew,
How bad it would be,
We had not a clue.

Our boss paced back and forth,
I could tell she was afraid,
She was not going to show it,
I was not fazed.

I hoped for a power outage,
Lights to go out,
It would be more interesting,
Due to the customer drought.

She told us if anything should happen,
To save our own ass,
I liked her policy,
It had some class.

She ran and hid,
I watched the sky,
I was waiting,
Waiting for cows to fly.
