O starry night, I lie awake and ponder.

Is the beauty I seek worth my life?

Or shall I travel yonder-

with ready, shield, and knife?

Shall I travel to the mountains, wide and so vast?

To see the one I desire with that radiant smile.

Beauty is seen even in her shadow, when cast.

O, how I long to see her even for a little while.

Her glimmering eyes, shinning like the sun.

Her smile that could make a thousand men weak.

O, how I long for those days of laughter and fun.

Her beauty was endless, perfect, and chic.

I wish to be with her, relaxing by a fire.

To look into her eyes and say, eternity is what I desire...
