I'm leaving behind my past

As I throw away my future.

I disregard yesterday

Since I will not be here for tomorrow.

I'm leaving behind my confusion and pain

And the headache of never-ending thoughts.

I'm leaving behind my body;

Do with it what you please.

I'm leaving behind my mind;

There is no more room for me there anymore.

I'm leaving behind my memory

As well as the oxygen I breathe…
