Spoon-fed ideas in your head

Taking away your voice, your right,

And replacing it with that of others.

Expected to believe in their lies-

There is no truth.

For if there is a God, his words have filtered

And have no effect on me.

Forced views rule you

And if you rebel,

You get looked down on

And threatened to go to Hell.

But how do you worship

What you don't know even exists?

It could all be a waste of time-

You don't have enough time to throw away

And to expect change if you simply pray.

Why not just live life as it comes,

Work hard and unwind?

Because faith in the unknown is just too hard to find.
