- Memory Dream -

A memory hidden inside of a dream
A realistic dream in full blown color
The memory of the day I found my true self
The day I found out I was an uncontrollable maniac

A hellish imprisonment of people
Behind the locked gates, I was tortured
The only place I could hide was in filth
Even then, I couldn't hide from the sound of their voices
I screamed as loud as I could
I covered my ears
But they wouldn't go away
So I dug my nails into my arm
And painted a picture on the white wall in my blood

Holding on to the toilet
Vomiting blood and bleeding through my eyes
I fall to the filthy floor
It feels like my lips are kissing ice
The coldness left the memory exposed

Even now, that memory is gnawing at me
I can't forget it and set it free
It's buried too deep inside of me
I'll continue to see it in my nightmares
